Cozumel!! Always a favorite.... July 24, 2019
Today we would be docking in Cozumel! We have been here a few times on cruises and we always enjoy it! We knew we didn't want to spend the day only at the beach, so we decided to do a "Dune Buggy" tour of the island! We met our guide and had two Dune Buggies, in one was my parents and our guide and the other one was Keith, myself, Alex and Megan. We were able to customize our day since we booked the private tour. Off we went! We stopped along the coast to see if we could spot any turtles. It was the turtle hatching season. We didn't see any but we did see many nest markings. They have volunteers who mark the nests and go out to try to protect the turtles. Our next stop was a Tequila Tasting. We thought it would be similar to the rum tasting in Roatan, but this was truly a lesson in tequila! It was really interesting! While they don't actually make any...
